The illegal immigrants from Lebanon, who have admitted to being a member of the Hezbola Terrorist Group Network, are expected to be deported a year after being caught under former President Joe Biden’s watch and released to the country.
Basel Bussel Ebbadi, 22, was captured by border agents in El Paso, Texas on March 9, 2024 and quickly took federal custody. He reportedly told investigators he intends to travel to New York to make bombs, and that training on Iran-backed terrorist networks focuses on “jihad” and “killing non-Muslims.”
Ebbadi told investigators he was interested in leaving the group because he “didn’t want to kill people.”
Noem sends a message to those considering entering us illegally: “Don’t even think about that.”

Nevertheless, Ebbadi was deployed alone to refer to the Tactical Terrorist Response Team (TTRT), which allegedly committed a “terrorist threat to personnel.”
“If an individual poses a potential threat to national security or public safety, he will refuse to enter, detain, remove, or referral, if necessary, for further review, investigation, and/or prosecutors,” a spokesman for the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol told Fox News Digital at the time.
After illegally entering the United States, Ebbadi was convicted of illegally entering the country on April 26 and sentenced to five months in federal prison, the New York Post reported.

He was eventually deported by an immigration judge after serving his sentence on January 13th. Upon entering the US, he claimed that his documents had been stolen somewhere in Costa Rica.
