R-Va. Rep. John McGuire welcomed the home of 21-year-old Seth McGuire, from Israel this week.
McCready spoke to Fox News Digital in an exclusive interview at Washington Dulles International Airport on Tuesday after a trip from Israel to Jordan and Egypt before aboarding the final flight.
He was greeted by his father from Virginia and two brothers at the International Arrivals Gate, with all his big smiles and embraced by lawmakers standing with red, white and blue balloons and American flags flying through the American Capitol.
“God protects me and those I was with, and he protects Israel too,” McCready said. “I believe 100% of the time Israel is going to pull out. It’s fine.”

Tugboats, cruise ships, flights: Israel begins emergency evacuation of citizens amid Iran’s war
When the Jewish state launched its first attack on Iran, Mac Credit was visiting Israeli families when President Donald Trump called it a “12-day war.” He told Fox News Digital that he could later volunteer with a ministry group, prepare the room and even deliver food to those in need if the strike continues.
“We had some impacts, something like kilometres away from me, and the whole building shaking,” MacCredy said, explaining the strike that slid Israel’s defenses.
McGuire, who joined McCready’s family on Tuesday to welcome him, said, “I’m very happy with his family. You can’t always help anyone, but that’s the best part of this job as much as you can.”

A freshman Virginia legislator said he will work with the State Department to secure a home on the road for Mac Credit. McCready and McGuire thanked political supervisor Ramona Christian for playing an important role in bringing McCready home.
“It’s just a big team effort, and this is the second young man who helped us get home in a week. And now we have some other people who reached out to our office.
McGuire celebrated McGuire’s homecoming as the fragile ceasefire agreement between Iran and Israel had just begun.
Questions remained about whether the ceasefire would be held when Trump announced Monday evening that he had “a full agreement between Israel and Iran that there would be a complete and complete ceasefire.”

Trump said the US successfully attacked three Iranian nuclear sites on Saturday night, but Capitol Hill still has questions about how far the Strike has pulled back Iran’s nuclear program.
“Iran’s ability to project power has diminished significantly,” said McGuire, a Trump loyalist who secured approval in 2024.
“We had an imminent threat of nuclear weapons in Iran, but we couldn’t have one,” McGuire added. “The threat has been eliminated.”
Israel launched a series of coordinated attacks on Iran on June 13th. Iran opposed and urged the country to trade strikes for 12 days. After the US struck Iran, the Islamic Republic launched a retaliatory attack at a US Air Force Base in Qatar.

However, McGuire has declared that he is “very hopeful” that a ceasefire between Israel and Iran will hold and there will be peace in the Middle East.
