The cold gripped them all night.
Hundreds of die-hard Billie Eilish fans flocked to Kia Forum overnight to watch Sunday’s concert ahead of the first of Eilish’s five sold-out shows there this week. People were seen camping out in front of the venue early in the morning.
All kidding aside, the fans want to go. In fact, some people arrived at the Forum more than 24 hours before the show was scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
“We got here around 5 o’clock yesterday and we’ve been camping here ever since,” one fan accompanied by some friends told KTLA 5’s Omar Lewis just after 8 a.m. Sunday. “It’s been really cold here so we’ve been trying to stay warm…we’re trying to do our best for Billy.”

He and his friends were aiming for the barricade between the stage and the general admission section where fans were closest to the performers. They said they were 94th in line to get in, which given the Forum’s capacity of 17,500 people means they’ll likely get pretty close.

Sunday’s performance will be the first since Eilish, 22, was hit in the face by a bracelet thrown by someone in the audience during a performance in Arizona on Friday.
Fans who spoke to KTLA said they were “extremely disappointed” that such a thing had happened and said they hoped similar incidents would not occur on the forum.

Each forum show has a different opener. Sunday’s opening act will be The Marias. Other opening acts include Towa Byrd, Nat and Alex Wolff, Ashnikko, and Finneas, Eilish’s younger brother and main producer.
After Sunday, Eilish will perform at the Forum on Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday, followed by her “Hit Me Hard and Soft” tour in Australia in February. She celebrates her 23rd birthday on Wednesday.
