A small plane crashed in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, officials said.
NBC10 affiliate Wgal News first reported a crash on Sunday, March 9, 2025 in the Manheim Township’s Fairview Drive and Meadowview Court areas.
The plane, called the single-engine Beechcraft Bonanza A36TC – departed from Lancaster Airport just before 3:30pm on Sunday, heading to Springfield Beckley Municipal Airport in Ohio, according to Flightware.
According to WGAL, it doesn’t appear that the plane had hit the building, but several vehicles started a fire after the crash.
WGAL footage shows firefighters, police and other first responders who gathered in the parking lot and heavy smoke, what appears to be part of at least two badly damaged, burned-out cars and small planes.
According to WGAL, several people were injured in the crash. Authorities have not yet revealed their terms. The FAA continues its investigation.
