President Donald Trump said those who ask about the sex trafficking incident of late investor Jeffrey Epstein should pay attention to former President Bill Clinton and former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers.
Trump’s comments have led to increased scrutiny of the case after the Trump administration announced that it would not seal the documents on Epstein’s investigations a day after U.S. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche met with Epstein’s associate Githlane Maxwell in Florida.

“You should talk about Larry Summers. You should talk about some of his friends, who are hedge fund guys,” Trump told reporters as he left for Scotland on Friday. “They’re all over the place. You should talk about Bill Clinton.”
Trump then accused Clinton of visiting Epstein’s private island. Trump said he had never visited the island before.
Meanwhile, Clinton also says he has never visited the island. In his new memoir “Citizens,” released in 2024, Clinton said he had never been to the island and even wanted to meet Epstein in the first place.
Summers and Clinton spokesmen did not immediately respond to requests for comment from Fox News Digital.
Summers previously served as Clinton’s Treasury Secretary and director of the National Economic Council for President Barack Obama.

Trump’s comments announced that reviews for Epstein were closed, not releasing new documents from Epstein’s sex trafficking case, amid anger from some conservatives after the Justice Department and the FBI released in July.
Furthermore, the agency said it would not detect a list of sexual predators with ties to Epstein, and concluded that no new people would face the accusation.
Trump has tried to counteract his curiosity in the Epstein case and said there is no reliable information left to share with the public.
“He’s been dead for a long time. He wasn’t a big factor in life. I don’t understand what interest or attraction is. I’m not really, and I’ve been given reliable information,” Trump said on July 14th.
