Preparations for July 4th will be in full swing in Southern California. Cities across Los Angeles County will be holding activities and fireworks shows to celebrate America’s independence.
Whether you want to dance at Queen Mary or enjoy a drone light show at Grand Park, there are many ways to celebrate.

Woodland Hills: Warner Center Park offers free concerts and a 20-minute fireworks display. The annual event, from 6pm to 9:30pm, will also feature over 15 local food trucks, art and craft vendors and local businesses.
Universal Studios Hollywood: After a long day of patriotic Fife and drum band thrills, meals and performances, you can enjoy a fireworks show at 9pm at the “Transformers” ride or Universal Plaza. Would you like a date and time?
Six Flags Magic Mountain: Do you want to continue your patriotic spirit after July 4th? Six Flags Magic Mountain hosts a three-night “National American Thrill” at 9:15pm, with a memorable nightly fireworks show. Would you like a date and time?
Claremont: Eat a barbecue, listen to live music, watch the fireworks. What a great way to celebrate American independence. The gate will open at 6:30pm and is the fireworks show scheduled for 9pm?
Rose Bowl: Rose Bowl is trading fireworks with drones this year. From July 4th to 6th, an outdoor food festival featuring over 200 food and retailers will be held, with a drone light show coming out in place of traditional fireworks starting at 1pm.
South Pasadena City: Brings a patriotic spirit to the South Pasadena fireworks show. The evening event will begin at 7pm with live concerts from local artists. Will the fireworks continue on the 9pm date and time?
Long Beach Waterfront: Enjoy Queen Mary’s spectacular 9pm fireworks show along the waterfront for free.
Queen Mary: Ahhhh! Do you start on Queen Mary’s deck and start at 3pm on the evening of dancing and live music, or at 3pm on the evening to see the stern display and time?
Gardena: Celebrate your fourth in the activities, food trucks and kids’ zones at Raleigh Park from 5pm to 10pm?
Marina del Rey: Viewers will be able to watch the 20-minute fireworks show at 9pm from almost anywhere in Marina del Rey, Venice Pier, Playa Vista and Dockweiler Beach, but will enjoy music synced to the Burton Chase Park and Fisherman’s Village shows. Date and time?
Pacific Palisades: This year’s event, held to Palisadians and their friends and family, features music and over 20 food trucks. The entrance gate will open at 5pm and a drone light show will be announced at 9pm in place of traditional fireworks amid concerns over wildfires.
Dodger Stadium: Enjoy Red, White and Dodger Blue as the team plays the Houston Astros at 6:10pm. Stay until the end of the game and watch the fireworks from your seat.
Gloria Molina Grand Park: Celebrating LA’s July 4th “Real” from 4pm to 9:30pm. Ride on a 75-foot Ferris wheel or slide a 90-foot super slide. The Drone Light Show is featured as an eco-friendly alternative to traditional fireworks.
Hollywood Bowl: The nine-time Grammy-winning band Earth, Wind & Fire, sways with iconic songs like “September” and “The Shining Star.” The band will be in a bowl of fireworks, fun and funk for three nights from 7:30pm on July 2nd to 4th.
Hollywood is forever: “I feel the need for speed, Maverick?” Hollywood Forever is holding a screening of “Top Gun” at 7:30pm and a fireworks show that rings on a patriotic holiday.
Disneyland Magic Kingdom: Watch red, white and blue fireworks to cover the sky in “the happiest place on earth.” Viewers will be able to enjoy views from around Sleeping Beauty Castle and park at 9:35pm when the fireworks are released in patriotic music.
Knotts Berry Farm: After a day of attractions and entertainment at Knotts Berry Farm, you’ll be immersed in a fireworks fanfare at 9:30pm.
Huntington Beach: “The biggest celebration of July 4th, west of Mississippi” continues its fireworks tradition at sea at 9pm, captivating more than 500,000 attendees a year.
