The White House is calling for “fraudulent bureaucrats” in small federal agencies this week for attempting to ban members of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
Elon Musk’s Doge team member and representative of the United States International Development Agency (USAID) Peter Marrocco, who aimed to enter the US African Development Foundation (USADF) building on Wednesday in accordance with an executive order to reduce the federal government, but was reportedly intentionally locked by members of staff.
The cost-cutting team returned to USADF the following day after the Department of Justice (DOJ) determined it was entitled to the building.
Brehm, who has granted instructions to employees to refuse Doge’s entry, is trying to prevent Doge from entering the USADF office, but the White House replied that “Rogue bureaucrats have no authority to reject an execution order by the US President or to physically prohibit representatives they run.”

“President Trump has signed an executive order to reduce federal bureaucracy, reduced the USADF to a statutory minimum and appointed Peter Marrocco as acting chairman of the board,” White House Deputy Press Secretary Anna Kelly said in a statement shared with Fox News Digital.
In a lawsuit filed Thursday, Brem allegedly “an illegal overreach” from Doge, and asked the court to ask him to give President Trump “a clear qualification to remain in his office as president of the USADF” according to the White House.

“Whether President Marrocco, President Trump, GAO or the remaining defendants, Breme’s threatened termination from his position as president of the USADF is illegal,” the complaint on page 26 reads.
On Friday, District Judge Richard J. Leon of Washington, DC, issued a temporary restraining order that would prevent the removal of Bream.
Trump praises Doge’s efforts to cut hundreds of millions of dollars in “waste” from the federal government in making “bold and deep change” within the federal government.
“My administration will regain power from this inexplainable bureaucracy and we will once again restore true democracy to America,” Trump said in a speech to a joint session of Congress on Tuesday.

“Federal officials who resist this change will soon be in office as we are draining the swamps. That’s very easy,” the president said. “The era of control by unelected bureaucrats is over.”
