The woman shot by the Los Angeles police station in Eagle Rock’s backyard during a hit and run suspect manhunt has been identified as Gillian Schulschuls, the wife of American writer and Weezer bass player Scott Schulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschulschul

Schliner, 51, was taken to hospital after suffering a non-life gunshot wound Tuesday afternoon, according to LA police. She booked an absentee on suspicion of attempted murder after police said they repeatedly ignored orders to point their handguns at officers and unload the weapon.

The shooting came at 3:25pm Tuesday when the California Highway Patrol demanded LAPD assistance in pursuing three suspects who escaped from a scene where he hit and ran on the 134 highway.

A crash on the 134 highway on Tuesday prompted a hit-and-run suspect manhunt.

The officer was turned to the back of a residence in the 5300 block of Waldo Place, where he saw one of the suspects running. There, officers saw Schliner standing in the backyard of the property next door and her handgun was painted, police said.

According to a report from CBS News, Shriner fired after seeing the suspect on her property.

Schliner fled to her residence after being shot by police. She later left her property and was taken into custody before being taken to hospital by the Los Angeles Fire Department, police said.

Police said officers later determined that she lived in her home and not involved in the hit and run incident.

Agency spokesman Daniel Keene said the California Highway Patrol arrested him on Tuesday around 4:20pm for suspected hit-and-run drivers. He finds out that he only wears boxers in the backyard of a house near Schliner’s residence.

According to KTLA, the man was seen by a news helicopter that he took off his clothes and jumped into the pool to water plants with what appears to be trying to blend in with his neighborhood. His identity has not been released.

The remaining two suspects who escaped from the hit and run are still large, police said. According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision included three vehicles and sent one casualty to the hospital with moderate injuries.

The officer retrieved a 9mm handgun from Schliner’s home. Police shootings are being investigated by the LAPD’s military investigation department. No additional officers or civilians were injured during the incident, police said.

Gillian and Scott Schreiner have been married since 2005 and share two children. Weezer – The alternative rock band consisting of lead singers Rivers Cuomo, Drum Player Patrick Wilson, guitarist Brian Bell and Bassist Scott Shriner will be performing at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on Saturday.

Gillian Schliner, who also passed by, was a bestselling author recognized in his 2010 memoir, “Some Girls: My Life in Harem,” and describes the experiences of Prince Jeffry Borkia of Brunei in Harem. In 2023, she published “Monsters Facing America’s Most Prolific Serial Killer: In-person” based on an interview with serial killer Samuel Little.
