Part of Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills will be closed Monday due to work on the Metro’s D-Line Metro expansion project.
Wilshire Boulevard, located between Crescent Drive and El Camino Drive, will be closed until April 7th, allowing crews to remove concrete deck panels used during construction, allowing road and utility recovery on expansion projects, according to transport.
Drivers should follow the recommended street detours and allow extra time when traveling around the area.

Pedestrian access is maintained along Wilshire Boulevard. No road closures are planned during holidays or local events. All commercial real estate driveways adjacent to the closure are accessible. The location of the bus stop along Wilshire Boulevard has been relocated to provide further information. Emergency vehicle access is maintained outside the construction zone.
Beverly Hills City Council has approved the three-week closure. This avoids the 18-week closure, when street decks and street repairs were originally approved.
