Exclusive: Smarter, less difficult, but according to the Republican leader who runs in one of the two governor races this year, the Congress is a theme to follow to pass tax relief to budget efforts.
With the aim of success for term-limited governor Glenn Youngkin, Lieutenant Colonel has published the “tax” framework and identified areas of consensus that people on the political spectrum can support.
Her plans call for ending taxes on Virginia tips, reflecting President Donald Trump’s policy proposals and giving breaks to residents of states known for nightlife and tourism meccas such as Alexandria, Williamsburg, Virginia Beach and Roanoke.
Foodservice workers, personal service workers, hospitality and other tribute-based industry employees said they will pay 0% statewide based on her plan to give breaks to working families screaming at both the state and federal levels.

We will also abolish automobile tax and vehicle-based property taxes.
“The ‘tax’ plan is rooted in simple truths. Working Americans should not be punished for making a living or driving and doing their job,” Sears told Fox News Digital in an exclusive statement.
“Congressional conservatives get it and they should follow Virginia’s lead. …Real working families deserve to keep more money in their pockets, and as governor, I’ll make sure they do that.”

Sears said the ending tax on national and state-level tips is recognised that the hint is a “great service recognition” and not a different path for the government to distribute it.
For one of the industry jobs and car owners where most middle-class people work, Sears said her initial tax plan is evidence that the surgical approach is necessary to properly address what people are asking for, rather than trying to go too far at once.
“The Virginia economy is driven by a prosperous service sector made up of families like me and thousands of hardworking commuters,” Sears said. “Chip earnings are reaching their limits. Working parents rely on cars, not on Metroline, to spend their day. This isn’t just a Virginia story. It’s a reality for families across the country.”

Respect the political process and listen to it[ing] “And it’s up to people to think about how politicians should lead,” she said.
Like Congress, where Republicans often see narrow majority in both chambers and similarly closely divided governance, “tax” plans include provisions that “prove that they can work in divided rooms and still have taxpayers first.”
“Virginia is leading the way.”
