Exclusive: A Wisconsin woman was taken away from City Hall, hosted by Oak Claire’s Democratic Minnesota Gov. Tim Waltz, after filming an organizer blocking Trump supporters last week.
Wisconsin voter Katrina Patterson told Fox News Digital that she wanted Waltz to deal with potential social security and Medicare cuts, but she was told to leave, met with law enforcement and was trapped outside before City Hall began.
Patterson said he “knowed that was wrong,” but filmed the event organizers refused to enter Walz’s town hall with a “Make America Great Again” hat. While she was signed up for the event, Patterson took her seat for a few minutes before she was told to leave.
“Tim Waltz and the Democrats have insisted that my lawmakers don’t listen to his members, but there’s still evidence of them preventing Republicans from coming to their town hall,” Patterson said. “It’s really hypocritical. It becomes abundantly clear that their town hall is not authentic. They’re fake town halls because there’s no better word, because they want to hear only from Democrats.”

The former vice presidential candidate was one of the first Democrats to announce the Republican-owned Capitol District City Hall after the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), a political campaign committee tasked with electing Republicans to the U.S. House of Representatives.

“Obviously, this political theatre was designed to engage only Democrats who have no real interest in listening to voters who rejected their outspoken agenda. Another embarrassing charade about Waltz’s walk of shame.”
When Waltz announced his Red State Tour, he framed the City Hall as an opportunity for Republican District members to “hear their voices.”
“I’m off the road, travelling to red states across the country to lend megaphones to people. Your House member may not want to hear, but I’m going to hear from us anyway,” Walz said in the post.

Patterson said it was “hypocritical” for Democrats to insist that Republicans are willing to listen when they are preventing Republicans from entering.
“They have people who go to Republican City Hall and start up in deliberate confusion and trouble, and they turn around and prevent Republicans from entering their town hall. It’s just scary and hypocritical. That’s really true,” Patterson said.
She said Democrats “feeled like a “secret society” that didn’t want Republicans to hear, speak up, or give their opinions or opinions.

“The only reason they had to kick me out was the fact that I was catching them on camera and was doing something wrong with knowing they shouldn’t,” Patterson added.
Patterson didn’t have the opportunity to express her concerns at Waltz City Hall, but she said Rep. Derrick Van. Orden, R-Wis. is “really reachable” and she has no problems getting in touch with him despite what Democrats are saying.
“Tim Waltz and the Democrats are having a hard time really running him through the mud and making a virtual town hall,” Patterson said. “I saw one the other day and put a few comments out there. There was one question I couldn’t answer, but I’m planning on asking him again next time.”

Democrats have launched coordinated efforts to host “people’s town halls” in all 50 states after devastating protests advised Republican leaders to hold in-person town halls. The DNC held a total of 22 events in 13 states on Fox News Digital Friday, with the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and Democratic parties in the first week. The event was billed as “open, inclusive and built to amplify the voice.”
Walz did not respond to a request for comment on Fox News Digital.
