The woman charged with selling Matthew Perry is heading for trial in September with the ketamine dose that killed him.
The Jasveen Sangha trial — the only coming soon with the death of the “friend” star after four other defendants reach a judicial agreement with prosecutors — is scheduled to begin September 23rd, following Tuesday’s order from a federal judge in Los Angeles.
The 42-year-old Sanga, who prosecutors say is known to clients as the “Queen of Ketamine,” is being charged with five counts of ketamine distributions, including one that leads to death. She pleaded not guilty and has been in federal custody since her arrest last year.
Her trial was scheduled to begin on August 19th, but the judge postponed a fourth postponement from the April 2024 charges after both parties agreed to move.
Sanga’s lawyers have experienced the enormous amount of evidence received from the prosecutors and say they need time to finish his investigation.

Sanga, along with Dr. Salvador Placencia, who pleaded guilty to ketamine distribution last month, was one of the two biggest targets in the investigation of Perry’s death. Perry’s personal assistant, his friend, and another doctor also enter the guilty plea and work with the prosecutor. Everything is waiting for a verdict.
Perry, who died at the age of 54 at home on October 23, 2023, had taken ketamine from a regular doctor to treat depression.
However, prosecutors say that when the doctors didn’t give Perry as much as he wanted, he asked for more from Placencia and more from Sanga.
Perry’s assistant and friends said in their plea agreement they acted as intermediaries to purchase a large amount of ketamine for Perry from Sanga. Prosecutors argue that it includes the dose that killed Perry.
