A woman has been a Palmdale food vendor to showcase the Mexican flag in a video that is going viral on social media.
In the invader racist rant, you can hear her calling a food vendor immigration officer and threatening to tell him, “It’s illegal to have a Mexican flag rather than an American flag.” This video is W. It was recorded on Sunday at around 3:30pm in the 2700 block of AvenueO.
Oscar Lopez, owner of Toxxico’s Go Go Food Truck, posted a video to his business account.
“She starts screaming all this,” Lopez said. “It was very racial, especially with the Mexicans. Also, it was very scary at this point because she was going to call the ice.”
According to Lopez, the woman passed his business several times when she harassed him.
“She said the flag was not an American flag,” he said. “The reason for the Mexican flag is because it’s the food we sell. It’s not trying to do anything else.”
Lopez was born in the United States and his food truck specializes in Mexican food, so the flag he displays. He is shaken by an uneasy encounter, but he says that he is not surprised by the attack due to the political situation in the country.
