A driver was arrested early Saturday morning while driving north in the southbound lanes of Highway 110.
According to preliminary information, CHP officers received a call around 12:40 a.m. about a vehicle driving the wrong way on I-110 near the interchange with I-105 in South Los Angeles.
Video taken from inside a vehicle traveling to the right on the highway shows a pickup truck in the center as a CHP patrol car pursues from the other side of the highway and a law enforcement helicopter follows the pursuit from above. The video shows the driver maneuvering in the passing lane near the divider.

Traffic on the highway was stopped during the pursuit, according to the video.

CHP eventually deployed spike strips to slow down the male driver, who attempted to flee using the express lane, initial reports indicate.
He was taken into custody after their car was spiked. Details about their identities or the charges they may face have not been released.
