x marks the location of the n-up improvement. Famous for its brutal drive-thru line, the Alhambra location is preparing to reopen after months of closure.
Video from the 1210 N. Atlantic Blvd site shows the famous nn-out palm trees already in place, and a newly paved car park is almost complete.
IN-N-Out originally took over the expansion space from another Southern California staple, Twoheys, which closed in 2019. This allows for a redesign of larger parking lots and drive-thru.
San Gabriel Valley fans recall the infamous line of the place.
IN-N-Out wraps details, but the city of Alhambra website provided information about the project and required city approval. According to the site, the project included “an existing drive-thru and restructuring of the site layout, including new CMU walls, curved seat walls, new garbage packaging and new landscaping.”
The city of Alhambra website also features a new in-n-out rendering of the artist.
A spokesman for IN-N-Out told KTLA 5 News that “a fair amount of work” remains before the restaurant reopens – probably within a few months.
IN-N-Out is a family-owned company that operates around 400 restaurants in the West.
