The burglar drove a van from the front of a store in South Los Angeles and robbed it early Monday morning. Worse, this isn’t the first time a business has become a hit.
The store owner told KTLA that his check cashing business in the 2100 block of San Pedro Street was “completely destroyed” after the incident.
“The business supports three different families and this incident has made all three within reach,” the shopkeeper said.
It was not clear what was taken exactly from the business.

What exacerbates the problem is the fact that the owner’s insurance was cancelled earlier this year, so all repair costs will come out of his own pocket or from the public.
