Youngkin dodges anti-doge protesters outside the Virginia church

Patrick Henry conveyed the revolutionary rallying cry he’d heard all over the world. Protesters sang their own rally cry on Sunday, right at the very spot that the Founding Father urged Virginia settlers to take part in the American Revolution 250 years ago.

After making a statement in the annual enactment of Henry’s iconic speech, R-Va. Governor Glenn Youngkin was filled with screams of “shame” and protest while leaving St. John’s Church in Richmond, Virginia. Protesters hugged signs like “Deport Musk” and “Youngkin is Trumpkin.”

The “250 Years of the American King” protest at Patrick Henry Park was organized by the Individual Richmond, a group focusing on “local opposition to the Magazine Agenda.” Youngkin didn’t stop discussing the protesters screaming at him, but he spoke to them during an internal speech.

“There are Virginians, there are Americans standing up for freedom and freedom. I would like to once again thank everyone who is concerned about our Federation and the future of our nation. Now you may have noticed that you have enthusiastic friends outside.

Youngkin was a Trump ally who rose to political fame to defend parental rights, and invoked Henry’s fight for freedom and freedom during his speech as protesters danced to songs of their own definition of democracy outside.

Democrat state Sen. Gazala Hashmi, carrying a megaphone from his truck bed, shouted about President Abraham Lincoln’s leader during the civil war as protesters flooded the sidewalks around the church. She spoke in front of an upside-down American flag that should be used under the US flag code “only as a signal of misery in an example of extreme danger to life or property.”

“We resisted King George. We resisted Trump,” the flyer for the protest on Sunday said it compared President Donald Trump’s resistance to the American Revolution.

A Reddit user who organized the protest said, “Trump has continually violated the Constitution, declaring himself the sole legal authority of the land, calling himself the “king.” Trump must be removed from the office! ”

Anti-Trump protesters used Henry’s speech anniversary to resist Trump, but Trump declared the 250th anniversary of Henry’s speech and celebrated the second Virginia Convention.

“A few minutes ago, I signed a declaration in honor of the 250th anniversary of Patrick Henry’s famous speech, celebrating the 250th anniversary of his very famous and very famous words, “giving freedom and giving death to me.” Has anyone heard the phrase?

“Give me freedom, give me death!” It was a rallying cry for protesters during the Tiananmen Square protest in 1989, by Malcolm X during the civil rights movement, and those who opposed the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions in 2020. This phrase was first used by Henry towards the American Revolution and was used to persuade Virginia settlers.

Trump evoked Henry’s infamous line at last year’s criminal trial. “Do you give me freedom, give me death,” he wrote in every hat about the true society.

The protests resisting Trump’s enforcement and resisting the leadership of Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) Elon Musk, were staged two months after he took office. The Progressive Group also held “Not My President’s Day” or “No Kings Day” demonstrations nationwide. Democrats have accused the Trump administration of being “oli head” and “authoritarian.”

Last week, in a “better way” conversation at the Center for Progress in America, D-Ill Gov. JB Pritzker urged Democrats to fight and defend the American constitutional republic against President Donald Trump’s “incompetence” and “betrayal.”

The Democratic governor, who compared the current political situation with Nazi Germany during his national speech in February, warned last Tuesday of Trump’s “authoritarian rule.”

I-Vt. Senator Bernie Sanders pulled up the West Coast along with record-breaking West Coast MP Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez over the weekend, attracting thousands of supporters to his “Oligarchy of the Battle” rally over the weekend.

The event will be billed as an opportunity to discuss how we will take on the greed of the billionaire class and create a government that will work for everyone, not just for the minority.
