At least one person was killed and two others were injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Los Angeles’ Sawtelle neighborhood Thursday night.
Los Angeles Police Department responded to a crash at the intersection of Centinela Avenue and Olympic Boulevard around 8:12 p.m.
Cellphone video from witnesses showed several vehicles sustaining severe damage, including a sedan that crashed into a large tree in the median and an SUV that overturned.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene. Another victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, and a third person also suffered minor injuries, authorities said.
Details are still limited. The cause of the accident is unknown and police have not confirmed the total number of vehicles involved.
The victim’s identity has not been released.
The eastbound lanes of Olympic Boulevard between Cetinella Avenue and Stewart Avenue will be closed until further notice as police and firefighters work to clear debris from the roadway.
Drivers heading to the area are asked to plan alternate travel routes.
