Two theft suspects have been arrested, allegedly using stolen credit cards to shop in Orange County.

The suspects were identified as Tigiana Olivares Bruna, 42, and Jean Pierre Olivares, 38, both Chilean citizens.

On May 25, Irvine police received a report of a vehicle robbery at Bomber Canyon Trailhead, where the suspect escaped with the victim’s credit card.

The duo used the stolen cards to shop at the Irvine Spectrum Center Mall, where they purchased them at Apple, Sephora and Lululemon stores, police said.

They escaped from the scene and Mall Security provided police with surveillance images of license plates of their vacation cars.

They were eventually located in Dana Point and taken into custody. Police have discovered that the appearance changes with the stolen item and signal jammers, rock punches and clothing exchanges.

The pair were arrested, charged with robbery, stolen property, forgery, conspiracy, possession of robbery tools, and theft of an access card.
