The owner of a Southern California pawn shop has been arrested after police found the store filled with merchandise allegedly stolen by organized retail thieves.
According to San Fernando Police, Karen Pogosian, 38, of Arleta, is the owner of All Right Pawn Shop, located at 9044 Woodman Ave. in Pacoima.
Authorities said the pawn shop was suspected of operating as a “fence” for buying and selling stolen goods.
On December 3, police executed a search warrant at the store. During the raid, they discovered more than $20,000 worth of suspected stolen merchandise. Many of the products come from retailers like Target and J.C. Penney.

Photos of the bust showed a large collection of items, including expensive household appliances, kitchen utensils, watches, tools and toy sets.
Pogosian was arrested and charged with felony receiving stolen property. He is scheduled to appear in court later this month.

“As the holiday season begins, SFPD urges residents to remain vigilant and take precautions to protect their belongings, including keeping shopping bags, purses, and wallets out of sight and safe. “We are calling,” the police department said.
