A Riverside County man was arrested for allegedly having sexual relations with a minor.
The suspect was identified by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office as Roland Garza, 56, of La Quinta.
Authorities are investigating the incident, and on February 5th, the department’s anti-trafficking task force and the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force served as search warrants at a home in the 50-000 block of Calle Quito.

Garza was arrested at the scene for illegal sexual intercourse with a minor, oral mating with a minor, and possession of methamphetamine.
No details have been made regarding the circumstances surrounding the victim or suspected crime.
“The East Riverside County Anti-Trafficking Task Force was established in March 2020 to address crimes including the exploitation of victims by force, fraud or coercion in the eastern half of Coachella Valley,” authorities said. explained. “These cases often include cases of commercial human trafficking of children, as well as cases of forced labor, indentured service, debt bondage or slavery. The RCAHT Task Force is intended to be used in both local and federal terms. “It’s an interdisciplinary task force that combines law enforcement research resources.”
