Police report found that the wife of “Ghost Adventure” star Aaron Goodwin was arrested last week on allegations that she was trying to get him to assassinate.
Authorities were caught up in the Victoria Goodwin suspect’s plan after obtaining the phone call from Florida prisoner Grant Amato in October, according to a report from the Metropolitan Police Department in Las Vegas. According to court records, 35-year-old Amato was found guilty of first-degree murder and was sentenced to life in prison in 2019.
Amato’s phone included texts and Facebook messages between him and the reality star’s wife. This indicates that the pair are in love and attempted to pay to kill Ahlong Dwin, police say.
Victoria Goodwin, 32, was being held at Clark County Detention Center for murder and solicitation for involuntary murder. The prison records do not list lawyers.
It was not immediately clear whether Amato, 35, had a lawyer who could speak on his behalf. Records of Florida prisoners are not listed.

Police report said on October 2nd, Amato and Victoria Goodwin discussed putting aside $11,515 to hire a third party whose names have been renamed from the report. On the same day, they also discussed Aaron Goodwin’s location and the manufacturer of his car, the report said.
According to the report, Victoria Goodwin wrote in one message: “I’m a very worried roll,” Victoria Goodwin wrote in one message.
“I can’t believe it’s happening,” she wrote to another person, the report said.
In another message, she asks, “How did you get to this point?” And then, “Am I a bad person?”
In response, Amato asks why she thinks about it, and she says, “Because I chose to end his existence. It’s not divorce,” the report states.
On October 3, the report said Amato would contact the suspect’s hitman and call Aaron Goodwin to distract him. Later that day, Amato texted the alleged hitman and asked if the murder had been completed, according to the report.
“We need to know what’s going on,” Amato wrote, according to the report. “Can you get the update? Was it finished?”
That same day, the Florida correction officer got Amato’s phone. According to the report, its contents were searched on an unspecified date.
March. 4. Florida officials have contacted authorities in Nevada, where Aaron and Victoria Goodwin live, and said they are warning about the suspected plot.
When Victoria Goodwin was arrested and taken two days later to question her, she said she and her husband were “experienced with their marriage problems,” but according to the report, she refused to kill him.
The report said she admitted to seeing some of the messages between her and Amato, but also admitted that she did not remember all of them.
Aaron Goodwin could not be immediately contacted for comment.
Since 2008, 48-year-old Goodwin has appeared in Ghost Adventures. This follows when he and three others investigate paranormal activities. The Hit Reality series aired 19 seasons on its travel channel before moving to Discovery+ in 2021.
According to an Instagram post, Aaron and Victoria Goodwin were married in August 2022.
In the weeks leading up to Victoria Goodwin’s arrest, the couple shared loving photos of each other on social media.
On February 14th, she posted a selfie with her husband on Instagram and captioned the photo, “Mini Golf in My Valentine,” with emojis.
Aaron Goodwin commented on the post, “Even though I crushed me with a mini golf, I love you.”
On January 22, she shared a photo of the pair’s kiss on Instagram, writing, “Happy Anniversary Mi Cariño. I love celebrating our first date.”
He replied, “We are so blessed because we met. I love you.”
Victoria Goodwin’s next court appearance is scheduled for March 25th in Clark County. Her bail was set at $100,000, according to prison records.
