KTLA usually has a makeup artist who anchors weekend morning news. However, on Sunday she was sick. So entertainment reporter Doug Cork needed some help.
However, as his Megan cohort reports, there was no need to be afraid as Lauren Reister and Casey Montoya lived on TV and came to rescue.
It all started as Doug came out in the first entertainment segment of the morning after 6:45am, with makeup bags in his hand and Erin Myers had finished reporting on Long Beach Burger Week.
Doug told the co-anchor that he had started rubbing cream on his face as he thought he was right as the station was “challenged with makeup” on Sunday mornings and had no knowledge of how to apply the right product.
After all, it was eye cream.
“So I took this…” Doug said. Doug said while Lauren chirped, holding the eye cream in his hand, “Oh, I like that eye cream.”
“…but I put it all over my face,” Doug continued. “It’s a bit burning.”
When the woman laughed – and Casey asked for an eye cream – Doug explained that he was pretty serious about asking for his help, but revealed that it wasn’t because he didn’t know how to put it. Rather, he didn’t know what was.
That changed a bit with freedom as Megan began to apply makeup to Doug and Casey began asking questions about the products he had tried on Sunday mornings.

“Did you put powder on your face? How about blushing?” Casey asked.
“No, I don’t know what powder to use,” Doug replied. “There are three different kinds of things [types] There…and with other things, I don’t know what brushes to use. ”
Lauren joined Megan and applied makeup to Doug’s face, and the questions continued to pour in, and insisted that some brushes could be missing from his bag as he continued to say “I don’t know” from Doug.
After a while, they all realized at the same time that they still had to go live on TV and go through Doug’s entertainment segment, but that didn’t stop women from continuing their beautification work on live television (or if you’re Casey, you’re commenting on that).

“Just dot it and tap it,” the off-camera instructed Megan, who had used a sponge to rub the concealer under Doug’s eyes. “Doug, look up and look at it so that it doesn’t get into your eyes… Megan, you still have the place you’re missing in his nose.”
Lauren took a blush on Doug’s neck and cheeks, finished with a concealer and started with an eyebrow brush. Casey still offered her thoughts from her chair. That’s when Doug began talking about his behind the scenes’ behavior on the show “Severance.”
Kacey eventually took over Doug’s reading. Doug still had a Megan tendency. She spoke about the “retirement” mural in Los Angeles.
Then there was a verdict.

“Woman, amazing,” Doug beamed.
It’s not too bad for a 5-minute make-up tutorial while you’re doing a live TV show!
