The next pair of winter storms has already urged dangerous driving conditions for commuters in the San Bernardino Mountains on Tuesday morning, so it could potentially increase snow-rising elevations over the coming days.
The early morning sky quickly became ominous on Highway 18 on the edge of the world region around 6:30am
A heavy snow blanket whitened the road within minutes, according to freelance media company Onscene.tv.
The frozen smooth road proved to be a challenging challenge for drivers where one SUV was found capsized by a snowboard with one SUV attached to the roof.

Although no details regarding the crash have been provided, weather officials have warned drivers about driving conditions in dangerous winter weather and possible road closures.
Visitors to the mountains were informed to carry chains, winter driving equipment and avoid unnecessary travel.
The National Weather Service issued winter stormwatches between Wednesday afternoon and Friday morning.

The snow of 1-2 feet is over 6,500 feet, and by Thursday it’s as low as 3,000 feet.
Lower snow levels can affect travel through our local mountain paths, including Grapevine.
