Authorities say a 12-year-old boy was killed in a collision between a car in the San Fernando Valley and a moving van Wednesday morning.
The crash was first reported in the 4400 block of Woodman Avenue in Sherman Oaks around 10:15am, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
The situation surrounding the crash was initially restricted, but LAFD said the vehicle had hit a parked mobile van. Three were taken to the hospital and a fourth was declared dead at the scene.
