Air pollution authorities have extended a no-burn day warning for residents living in the South Coast Air Basin until the remainder of Friday night.
According to the South Coast Air Quality Management District (AQMD), the region includes Orange County and non-desert areas of Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
“South Coast AQMD reminds residents in these areas that burning wood in fireplaces or indoor or outdoor wood-burning appliances is prohibited at all times on No Burn Day,” the organization said. It’s written in the release.
