Walmart plans to remodel 57 California stores this year, including 11 in the Los Angeles area, the retail giant announced Wednesday.
Shoppers can expect to see new signs, new displays and “extended departments” with new items, authorities said in a media release that includes photos and renderings.
Walmart’s bakery, baby, apparel, groceries and home departments are one of those planning to make a makeover. The company said the pharmacy will soon have wide aisles and a new private screening room.
Customers can also look forward to seeing online pickups and streaming expansions as part of a multi-million dollar overhaul.
