The winter games will officially begin at the opening ceremony on Friday, February 6th, with several events set to begin before that. Curling is the first sport of the game with its opening match on Wednesday, February 4th.
Women’s ice hockey and snowboarding action will also begin on Thursday, February 5th, one day before the opening ceremony.
NBC and Peacock host live Olympic events every morning and afternoon. NBC offers the most programming time for the Winter Olympics of history with at least five hours of daytime coverage each day. Its live coverage includes figure skating, freestyle skiing, snowboarding, speed skating and more.
NBC also introduces “Milan Prime Time.” This presents an enhanced nightly primetime show offering 3-hour coverage that takes viewers from Italy within the Olympic days.
