It’s a crazy Friday frenzy in March.

The first round of the 2025 Men’s NCAA Tournament will end on Friday as the opening round of the women’s big dance is underway. That means Slate has 32 games, marking the most action-packed day of March’s madness.

Top NBA Draft’s Prospect Cooper Flag and No. 1 Duke Blue Devils will take the floor as well as the top seeded Florida Gators. Meanwhile, UConn Huskies will begin bidding for the third straight national championship, but will do so as the number eight seed.

As the No. 1 South Carolina Gamecox begins their title defense, the latest women’s champions will also be active. For the first time in the history of the program, the UCLA Bruins will launch the NCAA Tournament as the No. 1 overall seed.

What time does March Madness start today?

Women’s actions begin at 11:30am, with sixth place Wolverine Michigan winning the 11th Iowa Cyclone. Starting the men’s slate will face No. 9 Mississippi Bulldogs and No. 8 Baylor Bears at 12:15pm ET.
