The 12 Days of Christmas kicked off Thursday night aboard the iconic Queen Mary in Long Beach.
Hundreds of lights decorate the boat as dancers, singers and staff prepare for the holiday season.
“I’ve heard that Queen Mary might be haunted, but it’s definitely full of Christmas spirit,” said co-pilot Paul Jacek.
In addition to Santa, Mr. Claus and many others will be on board the 90-year-old ship as Los Angeles counts down to Christmas Eve.
The ship promises something new every night, including the Winter Wonderland Market, Ugly Sweater Karaoke Night, and Holiday Silent Disco.
The experience also includes real snow, which is trucked in from the mountains daily.
“We actually have a train that goes all the way around on the snow…it’s going to be running on Thursday,” said Experience Director Dylan Matteson. “But every night on the ship here is fun.”
The cost to ride the boat is $26.50 each day. A 12-day season pass is also available for $104.49.
Doors open at 5pm and close at 9pm each night.
