Deputies and loved ones are asking for the community’s help in locating an at-risk man who was last seen Dec. 13 in El Monte.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department describes Derek Cesar Elizondo as a 35-year-old Hispanic male, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing approximately 175 pounds.
LASD said Elizondo, a Los Angeles County resident, was last seen around 1:30 p.m. Friday near the 10000 block of Railroad Street wearing a black jacket, brown shirt, black pants and black shoes. It is said that he was

Elizondo’s family is concerned for his well-being, saying he suffers from what can only be described as a “mental disorder” and requires daily medication.
