Former President Barack Obama denied President Donald Trump’s “strange allegations” in a rare official statement Tuesday evening.
Earlier on Tuesday, Trump claimed that former President Barack Obama was the “mastermind” of Russiagate and called for him to be criminally investigated amid new claims that members of his administration had spurred stories of Trump-Russia’s conspiracy.
“By respecting the presidency, our office usually does not provide dignity in response to the constant nonsense and misinformation that flows from this White House,” Obama spokesman Patrick Rodenbush said in a statement. “But these claims are outrageous enough to deserve that claim.”
“These strange allegations are ridiculous and weak attempts at distraction,” the Obama spokesman continued. “The documents issued last week do not conclude the widely accepted conclusion that Russia worked to influence the 2016 presidential election but failed to manipulate the votes.”
He added: “These findings were confirmed in a 2020 report by the bipartisan Senate Intelligence Email Committee led by then-chairman Marco Rubio.”
Rodenbush’s statement on behalf of Obama comes after Trump won the 2016 election against Hillary Clinton, National Intelligence Director Tarsi Gabbard revealed “overwhelming evidence” that claimed President Obama and his national security team would become the long-standing Trump-Russian conspiracy probe, declassified documents that have recently been declassified.

Gabbard said Obama administration officials have revealed that they have “manufactured and politicized the Intelligence Election Agency” to create a story that Russia is trying to influence the 2016 presidential election despite the fact that information from the Intelligence Election community has said otherwise.

The new documents include the Obama name, his National Security Council chief, director of National Intelligence, director of James Clapper, CIA director, John Brennan, national security adviser Susan Rice, Secretary of State John Kelly, Attorney General Loretta Lynch and Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.
Gabbard sent a criminal referral to the Department of Justice on Monday in relation to these findings. Department of Justice officials did not share details for who the criminal referrals were.
Obama officials looked into the relevant documents and investigated them.

Regarding Gabbard’s crime introduction, when asked which specific numbers should be during the criminal investigation, Trump replied, “President Obama, he’s started it.”
“And Biden was with him, Comey was there, Clapper, the whole group was there. Brennan. They were all in this room. This is a room.” “It was President Obama. There were a lot of people here and there.”
Other Obama-era officials have not responded to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
The president went on to say that his administration has “all the documents and from what Tarshi said to me, she has thousands of additional documents.”
“So President Obama, that was his concept – his idea,” Trump said Tuesday. “But he also got it from the bent Hillary Clinton, which is bent as a $3 bill, and Hillary Clinton and her group Democrats spent $12 million on Christopher Steele to write a report, a completely fake report.”
Steele wrote credited anti-Trump papers paid by the Clinton Campaign and the Democratic National Committee through law firm Perkins Koy.

The anti-Trump documents served as the basis for a warrant under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) against former Trump campaign aide Carter Page.
The intelligence news community at the time widely viewed the documents from that time as “internet rumours,” but top officials like Comey, McCabe and Brennan reportedly pushed for inclusion in the 2017 Intelligence Community’s assessment.
“It took me two years to figure it out, but it turned out to be a complete false report – it was a constructed fiction – and they used it,” Trump said. “Steel’s report was a disaster. Everything lies, all manufacturing, everything admitted fraud.”

Meanwhile, Trump said, “We caught Hillary Clinton, we got Barack Hussein Obama. They’re the one. And you have a lot of people under them. Susan Rice – they’re all names.”

“I think they thought they were trying to put this in as categorized information, but no one would see it again, but it doesn’t work that way,” Trump said. “That’s the most incredible thing I think I’ve ever read.”
Trump added: “Nothing like this has ever happened in our country’s history.”

On July 28, 2016, Brennan explained to President Obama about plans from one of Clinton’s campaign foreign policy advisors by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by Russian security forces.

After that briefing, the CIA properly transferred the information through an anti-intellectual operational lead (CIOL) to the Assistant Director of Counter Intelligence Peter Struzock, using “Crossfire Hurricane.”

Former Special Advisor Robert Mueller has been appointed to take over the FBI’s former “Crossfire Hurricane” investigation. Almost two years later, Mueller’s investigation, which ended in March 2019, did not provide evidence of criminal conspiracy or adjustments between the Trump campaign and Russian officials during the 2016 presidential election.
Shortly thereafter, John Durham was appointed special advisor to investigate the origins of the “Crossfire Hurricane” probe.
Durham discovered that the FBI “failed to act” ahead of the 2016 presidential election, as the bureau was a “target” of Clinton-led efforts, “to manipulate or influence the law enforcement process for political purposes.”
Comey and Brennan are currently undergoing a criminal investigation, launched by FBI Director Kash Patel.
