Police are asking for the community’s help in locating a 55-year-old man in critical condition who went missing Sunday afternoon in Long Beach.
Long Beach Police say Pedro Renteria Jr. was last seen around 11:45 a.m. Dec. 8 in the 3300 block of Magnolia Avenue and hasn’t been heard from since.
Renteria is described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 3 inches tall, approximately 185 pounds, with gray hair and hazel eyes, police said.

“He suffers from a mental illness and may be disoriented,” police detailed in a statement.
Renteria was last reported to be traveling on foot, and police said Renteria was wearing a gray sweater, black pants, black shoes, and had a white Wonderguard bracelet on his right wrist. It was announced that
Additionally, Renteria is said to have surgical scars around the center and right side of his head.
