Los Angeles police are investigating a man who shot and killed a woman during an argument in Hollywood last month.
A few minutes after noon on Oct. 15, a woman was trying to rent a scooter at Hollywood Boulevard and Western Avenue when a man approached her, police said in a news release.
The man “began an argument” and fired several shots at the woman using a semi-automatic handgun, the statement added.
She was struck multiple times and was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

The gunman ran south on Western Avenue, and a witness took a photo of him.
He has black hair and brown eyes, is 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-8, weighs between 130 and 160 pounds, and appears to be approximately 20 to 25 years old.
