Anti-Israel protesters were arrested after raiding the lobby of the offices of Sens. Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand of New York City. The NYPD confirmed with Fox News Digital that the officers had arrested in a “unplanned demonstration” at 780 Third Avenue.
The protesters, covered in black and yellow, had made indications with various slogans, including two that directly addressed Schumer and Gilibrand, demanding that they “stop the hungry Gaza.” They also chanted, “Free Palestine, stop genocide.” Among the activists was Sarah Ramirez, the actor who starred in “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Just That Way,” according to Reuters.

It is unclear exactly how many people were arrested as the NYPD had not disclosed that information at the time of this writing.
Earlier this week, Schumer issued a statement denounced Gaza’s humanitarian crisis, calling for a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.
“Reports and images from Gaza depict catastrophic levels of hunger, starvation, suffering and death — underscores the dire human costs of this ongoing conflict that is completely unacceptable and cannot be ignored,” the statement read.

Huckabee also told Fox News’ Brian Kilmead that the situation in Gaza was “confusing” because of Hamas. He added that he saw evidence that the terrorist groups stole the aid and sold it on the black market. According to Huckabee, a 4-kilogram (8.8 pounds) bag of sugar is available for sale on the black market for up to $200.
Witkov said that he and Hackabee spent five hours in Gaza, setting facts on the ground, assessing the conditions, and [GHF] He added that the purpose of the visit was to “help President Donald Trump in “to create a plan that will give him a clear understanding of the humanitarian situation and bring food and medical aid to the people of Gaza.”
