Travis Scott’s return to Coachella has been around for a long time. The rapper with Autotune was supposed to top the 2020s cancel edition, so he was sure to play the 2022 return of the music festival, but he didn’t actually finish with that year’s lineup (it was only announced a few months after the fatal crowd was crushed at Houston rapper Astrol’s Festival).

Green Day, who performs on Coachella/Main Stage before Scott, is technically a Saturday night headliner, according to the lineup poster, but Scott will really be performing on that stage at the end (he essentially equals the “and…” credits of films and TV shows).
