One person is dead, and another could have been injured after a crash involving a Westchester vehicle and motorcycle.
Details are limited and it is unclear exactly how the accident unfolded, but officials from the Los Angeles Police Department told KTLA that officers responded to the intersection of Centinera Avenue and Albarn Street just before 5:45pm on the report of the fatal crash.
Video footage posted to the Civic App shows the large presence of police in yellow crime scene tapes covering the area outside the vast Playa Summit luxury apartment.

Just before the crosswalk, a white canopy was installed to cover the deceased motorcyclist. The victim’s helmet was on the ground just outside the tent.
Medical workers at the Los Angeles Fire Department also responded to the scene, but no one was transported to the hospital, the KTLA confirmed.

Investigators with the LAPD Pacific Division had marked evidence, spoke to potential witnesses and looked for surveillance video that could have captured the incident, but traffic was expected to be closed for several hours in the area.
No information was provided regarding the age or gender of the deceased victim, nor details about the possible second victim were provided.
