Ukrainian President Voldimi Zelenki has arrived at the White House for high stakes with President Donald Trump, who dresses more formal than his typical relaxed wardrobe.
Zelensky was seen waving Trump while he was holding a black body, including a black shirt and jacket.
“First of all… President Zelensky, you look great in that lawsuit,” the reporter told Zelensky after sitting with Trump in the oval office.
“You look good,” the reporter said before Trump added, “I said the same thing.”

Zelensky will return to Washington, D.C. on Monday to meet with Trump following a historic US presidential meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska to discuss the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. The Putin Conference did not bring about a peace agreement. Trump is now urging Ukraine to accept a land exchange contract with Russia, claiming it is the most efficient way to end the war.
Monday’s meeting also includes European leaders such as French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Kiel Starmer, German Prime Minister Friedrich Merz, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Finland President Alexander Stubb.

Zelenskyy had previously been asked about his public attire and fires. He routinely included that he wore dark green t-shirts, sweatshirts and other relaxed military style outfits, as opposed to suits.
“Why don’t you wear a suit? You’re at the highest level in the offices of this country and you refuse to wear a suit,” one reporter asked Zelensky when he visited the White House in February. “Do you own a suit?”
Axios reported that the White House asked Ukrainian officials before the meeting whether they would file a lawsuit at the meeting.

Fox News Digital reported earlier this week that Zelenskyy would likely wear more formal outfits for the White House meeting, according to a designer who previously worked with European leaders.

“He probably won’t appear in Polo tomorrow,” Ukrainian designer Elvira Gasanova told Fox News Digital Sunday. “I think he’ll opt for a black military suit or a military style shirt with pants. Probably a jacket.”
“After the recent ‘no suit’ drama, he will approach this question in a different way,” she added.
