An Iranian-American who holds an Israeli flag on his windshield to demonstrate his support for his Jewish friends and family was the target of a hateful, anti-Semitic verbal assault in Leseda in an incident captured on camera last week.
The victim, who was only identified as a Los Angeles resident named Justin, was in the car on May 22nd with her daughter and fiancée.
Justin told KTLA’s Rachel Menitoff that the man had rolled his window and threatened to kill him.
In Dashcam footage of the incident, an unidentified man behind Kia’s wheels enters the front of Justin’s vehicle, brakes hard and stops directly in front of Jason. He then takes his vehicle, his cell phone in his hand and probably films the exchange himself.
The unidentified man directs a series of profanity threats, with Justin saying, “Af**** WOO sick. I’m going to beat your ass in front of everyone, right?”
The man spits out towards Justin’s car and tells him that he is not American.

The gunman in that case was arrested, and federal investigators call the incident a terrorist act targeted.

As for Justin, who believes there are an increasing number of cases of anti-Semitic attacks, he said he felt it was important to show solidarity and engage in dialogue.
“I would like to offer this person who accused me, or someone like him. If you want to discuss the merits of war, you can look at it and analyze things. You can be as objective as possible and accept bias.”[We can] Try to see if we can reason like that in public. If you do that, you will feel that you are so confused about who your neighbor is, you will win people, and you will feel righteous to openly prejudice against those who may be perceived as Jewish. ”
Justin, who filed a police report, said the incident has been investigated as a hate crime, but so far no man has been found or arrested.
