The intruder who was shot and killed by a Lake Matthew homeowner on Thursday was identified as a 25-year-old man from Riverside.
Deputies for the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the hidden peak lane in the 16,000 block of phone calls about suspected people shortly after 11pm, RCSO said in a media release.
“The caller sent an unknown man about to break into his home and said the homeowner was armed with firearms,” the release said. “The caller sent information about the behavior of the suspects sent to him and stayed on the phone.”
