This summer, a massive surge in tourism to Puerto Rico is supported by Bad Bunny’s decision to hold 30 consecutive concerts on the grass at his home.
The singer sold over 400,000 tickets to “No Me Chiero y de Aki” (I don’t want to leave) which starts on July 11th and runs until September 14th at San Juan’s Coriseo de Puerto Rico Jose Miguel Agrelot.
The first nine of these shows are locals alone. The remaining 21st day is expected to attract more than 200,000 visitors flying to the island from around the world.

Glorianna Yamín, Vice President of Marketing at Discover Puerto Rico, told USA Today the residency was a “peak tourism period.”
The week after its announcement, Forwardkeys reported that flight searches to Puerto Rico were over 510,000.

“As far as I can remember, the idea of residency has always been there,” he told Variety. “But it became difficult to ignore and the more time passed, the more difficult it was to complete my last tour that I wanted to move to this chapter.”
In November, the “Monaco” singer embarks on a 56-day world tour. It will begin in the Dominican Republic and end in Belgium by July 2026. However, the singer will not be stopped this time in the US.
When Variety’s Tania Garcia asked why, the singer said two words: “That’s not necessary.”
He later explained that his US fans have ample opportunities to meet him in the past six years.
Meanwhile, Bad Bunny’s residency is expected to drive around $200 million in tourism profits across Puerto Rico.
