Five people were injured in a brutal pickup truck crash that tumbled across five highways at Castatic on an anniversary weekend Sunday.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department told KTLA that crews were called to the location of a single-vehicle crash on a northbound 5 near Hasley Canyon Road at 1:07pm Sunday.
At the scene, crew members found five injured patients. Two of them are in serious condition, while the other three suffer from minor injuries. Early reports suggested that these were probably families (two parents and three children), but KTLA has yet to confirm details of that.

Firefighters said at least three of the five patients were transported but could not provide further information regarding their gender or age.
An unconfirmed report from the Stringer Service Key News Network (KNN) said the truck had been removed from the highway and tumbled onto the Pitges Detention Center site, about 100 feet.
The California Highway Patrol also responded to the crash, closing two of the four northbound lanes for an hour on Sunday.
The CHP is investigating the conflict and said there is no immediate information on the cause of the violent rollover.
