Two of Disneyland’s popular Magic Key Passes are scheduled to go on sale on August 26th, Theme Park Resort announced Tuesday.

The two lowest layers of paths, imagination and enchantment keys, become available to guests.

This key provides fans with access to the park on some dates, according to availability and path type. Passholders also receive discounts on some food and products, as well as Lightning Lane Multi-Pass+, a park’s paid line skip service that will replace the FastPass program.

Here is a breakdown of what each path contains:

Imagine the key (available only to Southern California residents)

Price: $599

Includes: 25% off standard parking, 10% selected items, 10% off dining, 25% off Lightning Lane Multipass.

Enchantment Key

Price: $974

Includes: 25% off standard parking, 10% selected items, 10% off dining, 25% off Lightning Lane Multipass.

California residents can opt to pass monthly payments. For Imagine Key, monthly payments are $34.17 for 12 months, while for Enchant Key, monthly payments are $65.42. Each pass requires a down payment of $189.

For Imagine Key, the pass holder can hold two reservations at once. For enchantment key pass holders, the number increases to 4.

Two magic keys will be available before 9am. Potential pass owners can enter the online waiting room from 8:45am

However, according to the resort, joining an online queue does not guarantee that anyone can purchase a Magic Key. Passes have sold out in the past despite some fans waiting online for hours in anticipation of a purchase.

For those who can’t buy a Magic Key right now, Disneyland offers guests the option to notify them when their pass is on sale.

Disneyland launched its Magic Key program in August 2021 after the popular annual passports retired during the one-year closure of Disneyland and Disney California adventure parks due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
