Exclusive: National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard fired the top official who leads the National Intelligence Council, which whistleblowers describe as “fundamental opposition to Trump,” and moved her to the National Intelligence Director or ODNI agency to allow her to block the politicization of intelligence, Fox News Digital learned.
Gabbard fired Mike Collins, who served as the deputy chairman of the National Intelligence Council, and his vice-chairman Maria Langan Liecht told Fox News Digital on Tuesday.

Fox News Digital contacted Collins and Langan-Riekhof shortly after learning that they had been out for the National Intelligence Council, but they did not respond immediately.
Collins has also been receiving whistleblower complaints against him for political bias and “deliberately undermining the next Trump administration,” officials said. They added that Collins is closely linked to Michael Morell, former deputy director of the CIA who worked to write public letters in 2020, claiming that Hunter Biden’s laptop “has all the classic purposes of Russian information operations.”

Regarding Langan-reikhof, officials said she was a “significant advocate” of diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and the person who argues that whistleblowers are “fundamental opposition to Trump.”
Meanwhile, Gabbard has moved the National Intelligence Council from the CIA to the National Intelligence Director’s office, and “directly preserves inappropriate behavior and politicization of information,” Fox News Digital learned.
Many Intel communities’ leakers are “career bureaucrats who are entrenched in Washington’s politics,” officials said.
“It takes time to remove them and fire them,” an official told Fox News Digital, adding that “we know that there is an ongoing plan to eliminate non-essential offices within ODNI.”
A CIA official told Fox News Digital on Tuesday that the National Intelligence Council has been “always a DNI component. It makes sense that they are physically located in DNI.”
Gabbard establishes a new Intelligence Community Task Force to restore transparency
The move comes as Gabbard took steps to eradicate leaks and insisted on a “deep state holdover” that officials politicize intellectual analyses and say they are “trying to sabotage President Trump’s agenda.”

So far, Gabbard has referred three intelligence reporting experts to the Department of Justice for criminal prosecution on the leak of classified information. Fox News Digital first reported on these criminal referrals in April.
An ODNI official at the time reportedly leaked information to Fox News Digital by intelligence community experts classified as the Washington Post and the New York Times.

“The leakage of information that has been classified as the politicization of our intelligence must endanger our country’s security,” Gabbard told Fox News Digital in April. “People who leaked classified information will be held liable to the fullest extent of the law.”
A senior intelligence official said on Tuesday that Fox News Digital’s office was investigating 12 other intelligence officers about the leak of classified information.
For example, authorities told Fox News Digital that Odni fired two officials in early May. Officials said these officials were “CIA detailed people” who were fired for “defending appropriate procedures.”
In April, Gabbard established a task force to restore transparency and accountability in the intelligence community. Fox News Digital first reported on the Director’s Initiative Group (DIG), which began by investigating weaponization within the intelligence news community.
Officials said the group will work to eradicate politicization and expose unfair disclosures of classified intelligence. Additionally, it works to declassify information “helpful in the public interest.”

Gabbard describes employees who have joined sexually explicit NSA chat rooms and pursues actions against those who have illicitly leaked sensitive information within the intelligence community.
Meanwhile, authorities have complained about the hold-up when reviewing Intelligence news candidates.
