A man standing outside his car was shot and killed in a gang-related shooting in the San Fernando Valley, police say.
According to a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department, the shooting took place at 12:30am on Saturday near Vanowen Street and Woodley Avenue in Vanneis.
“The victim was standing outside the car when multiple suspects approached him on foot and fired multiple rounds,” the spokesman said. “The suspect entered the vehicle and fled in an unknown direction.”

The victim was identified only as a man and was declared dead at the scene by the first responder. His name wasn’t released anytime soon.

Suspect sought in robbery of two homes in Los Angeles
Authorities were unable to confirm whether the deceased was homeless, but confirmed that the shooting was gang-related.
There was no explanation for the suspect.
