If your favorite Venn diagram overlaps between clothes from Los Angeles, the animation legend Miyazaki Hayo, Uniqlo, it’s your lucky week. Uniqlo and Studio Ghibli’s third collaboration, “Myer,” was dropped on Thursday, July 10th with “14 new designs representing iconic Ghibli works and work by Thai artist Kanyada Fatan and Studio Ghibli producer Tosio Suzuki.”

Hardcore LA fans looking to get items from “My Dear” want to trek to the Uniqlo store on July 10th or tomorrow in Senchou City or Glendale. (Note: Each customer can win up to two sets of tickets, which is equivalent to a total of four tickets.)

Screenings began on Saturday, July 12th at 2:30pm, followed by Kiki’s delivery service at 3:15pm, and at 5:30pm, the Howl’s moving castle was a disappointment.

The entire collection is available online and in stores. It features t-shirts and sweatshirts for adults and children, and features art inspired by eight Studio Ghibli movies. Previous collaborations were announced in 2022 and 2023, and “My Lover” was the first drop since Boy and Heron won the Oscars Best Animated Film at the 2024 Academy Awards.

Founded in 1985 by filmmakers Takayama Isao and Miyazaki, Studio Ghibli has produced 25 animated films, including the three most-selling films in Japan. In 2001, the studio opened the Gibli Museum in Mitaka, Tokyo.
