Glendale Police arrested three people suspected of being part of an organized retail theft ring targeting stores throughout Los Angeles County.

Detectives linked 49-year-old Cheyla Ramirez, Ruben Lepiz Campos, 19, and 27-year-old Rogelio Soriano to all of Los Angeles, connecting five grand thefts and five additional cases in five Glendale county-wide between January and February, authorities said.

The three allegedly cooperated to steal a large amount of goods from Nordstrom Luck, TJ Maxx and Marshall’s Store. Investigators said the stolen items were sold again.

On March 3rd, detectives in Glendale were warned that Ramirez’s vehicle had entered the city and eventually arrived at the TJ Maxx store where police and store security allegedly observed shoplifting in Ramirez and Campos.

Police arrested them and recovered nearly $2,000 for the stolen items, police said. The search for Ramirez’s vehicle is said to have led to the discovery of a detailed notebook of suspected stolen items, robbery tools, resale transactions.

On Tuesday, detectives served as search warrants at two homes in LA, which police said Soriano was taken into custody and stopped recovering about $6,700 with additional stolen items.

Ramirez, Campos and Soriano face a variety of fees associated with organized retail theft. The police department says an investigation is underway and is working with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office to support the prosecutor.
