Hit and Run suspects have been arrested after the death of a person in San Bernardino County in the wrong collision.
The suspect was identified as Terri Lean Jones, 43, of Adelanto, according to the California Highway Patrol.
On August 3, CHP officials responded to a collision at El Mirage Road, just west of El Mirage Airport Road in Adelanto, around 8:30am.
Investigations revealed that the suspect was heading in the wrong direction on the shoulder of dirt when he decided to make a “unsafe turn” in front of the approaching Honda Civic.

Honda drivers quickly tried to turn their backs to avoid a crash, but the maneuver caused the vehicle to fly up and down the road.
Investigators said the suspect, driving a Subaru Forester, fled the scene after he noticed the victim’s serious injury.
The victim was airlifted to a hospital and later died. His identity has not been released.
CHP investigators discovered Subaru Forester and identified Jones as an affiliated person. On August 6, she was arrested on felony hit and run and vehicle manslaughter.
“CHP will take hit and rank rushes and unsafe driving seriously and will work diligently to investigate these cases,” said Captain Todd Kovaletz, CHP Victorville Area Commander.
No further details have been made as the incident remains under investigation.
