More human feet were discovered on Thursday, following the discovery of a severed foot in Palos Verdes Estates the day before.

Part of a foot was found on Bluff Cove Trail near the 800 block of Paseo del Mar on Wednesday, and no other body parts were found, Lt. Aaron Verda of the Palos Verdes Estates Police Department told the Los Angeles Daily.・Told the news.

Around 1 p.m. Thursday, authorities discovered the second leg while searching the area. Later, a femur was also discovered. It is unknown whether the two legs and femurs belong to the same person.

The discovery came a day after a pair of boaters disappeared, whose boat was found less than two miles away.

Officials said there were “no direct indications” that the bodies were related to the missing boat crew, but all possibilities were being considered.

“We haven’t ruled out anything, but it hasn’t been decided at this point,” Belda said. “They have not been identified and we have no information to support our belief that they are related.”

Cadaver dogs are expected to “thoroughly search the area” Thursday afternoon as authorities continue searching for possible additional limbs.

The city also reiterated Belda’s point that while it is possible that the missing man’s hands and feet were bound, there has been no direct evidence so far.

“This possibility has not been ruled out and investigators are considering all possibilities,” the release said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 310-378-4211.
