The Lancaster man was convicted of child pornography charges, even after removing an ankle monitor and stopped appearing in court.
U.S. Attorney General Bilal A. Essayli, 30, resident of Lancaster, was found guilty in federal court on Thursday for one count of child pornography production.
Between March and April 2024, Cole sent a message to the 16-year-old girl on Instagram, instructing her to send out sexually explicit photos.

Prosecutors said his phone search led to the discovery that Cole sent porn about the adult woman of the victim in a pose he wanted her to copy. She did and then sent him a picture.
The victim’s mother later discovered the activity over the phone. Cole then deleted his Instagram account.
At one point during the three-day trial, Cole removed the position monitoring unit from his ankle and stopped appearing in court.
Prosecutors believe he will remain a fugitive. US District Judge Percy Anderson subsequently issued a bench warrant to revoke his bond.
Cole faces mandatory duties for more than 15 years in prison. He could potentially face a life sentence.
